Onboarding

Create your OkupAI account and start your free trial — in about 5 minutes.

🧭 What onboarding covers

Onboarding is the signup flow at dashboard.okup.ai/start. It creates:

  • Your OkupAI account (your login for the dashboard)

  • Your 14-day free trial — no charge during the trial

  • An empty dashboard, ready for your first property

You don't need any technical knowledge, and nothing is connected to Airbnb or Booking.com yet. Connecting platforms comes later — after your first property exists.

📋 What to have ready

Before you start, have these at hand:

  • Your email address and a phone number

  • Your billing address — it appears on the invoices generated for your guests

  • If you operate as a company: company name, VAT number, and registry number (optional)

➡️ The 4 signup steps

1️⃣ Profile

Your account data:

  • First and last name, email, username and password

  • Preferred language and country

  • Phone number

Username and email availability are checked live while you type. If you sign up as a business, you can also enter your company name, VAT number, and company registry number — these will be used for billing.

2️⃣ Invoicing data

Your address: street, number, postal code, and city.

This address is used on the invoices automatically generated for your guests, so make sure it is the address you want guests to see.

3️⃣ Plan

Choose your trial plan:

  • Basic — core channel management

  • Advanced — adds more automation features

Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. You can change plans later at any time.

4️⃣ Review

Check your details and confirm. Your account and trial are created immediately.

The onboarding process now includes improved layout and functionality, ensuring a smoother experience. The panels will automatically scroll to the top as you navigate through the steps.

🔑 Password Reset Process

If you need to reset your password, follow these steps:

  1. Request a Reset Code: Enter your username on the Forgot Password page. If an account exists, a code will be sent to your registered email.

  2. Verify the Code: Enter the verification code you received via email.

  3. Set a New Password: Once the code is verified, you will be prompted to set a new password for your account.

If you encounter any issues during the password reset process, contact support for assistance.

✅ What happens after signup

You are logged in automatically and taken straight to the Properties page, with the Add new property window already open.

From here, the recommended path is:

  1. Add your first property

  2. Connect your booking platforms (Airbnb / Booking.com)

  3. Adjust prices and minimum nights

  4. Set up automatic guest messages

Until you connect a platform, no bookings can arrive — your new dashboard stays safely empty. There is no risk of overbooking during setup.
