# Client Dashboard Access

Create and manage sub-user logins with customized access — for owners, partners, or staff.

***

## 🔐 What is Client Dashboard access?

From the **Client Dashboards** card on the **Properties** page, you can create **separate logins** for people who should see only part of your data — property owners, investors, or team members.

Each login is fully customizable:

* 🏠 **Which properties** it can see
* 🧩 **Which features** it can open

{% hint style="info" %}
What your clients see when they log in is described in Owner Dashboard.
{% endhint %}

***

## ➕ Creating a new dashboard login

1. Go to **Properties** → **Client Dashboards** card
2. Click **Add new dashboard**
3. Fill in the three sections:

### 1️⃣ Information

* **Login** (required) — the username your client will use
* **Name** (optional) — a friendly display name

### 2️⃣ Objects Access

Choose which properties this login can see:

* **Selected** — currently allowed units
* **Available Units** — click a chip to add it; click a selected chip to remove it

{% hint style="warning" %}
Object limits always apply — even if a feature is enabled, the login only ever sees data for its selected properties.
{% endhint %}

### 3️⃣ Feature Access

Choose which dashboard areas the login can open. Permissions are grouped by category, searchable, and each one has a short description — for example:

| Permission      | What it unlocks                                           |
| --------------- | --------------------------------------------------------- |
| Financials | Revenue pages, booking prices, invoices, tax fields |
| Bookings | Bookings overview and calendar |
| Calendar prices | Nightly rates & min-nights on empty days, without revenue |
| Manage bookings | Edit bookings, add blocks, change prices |
| Reviews         | Review dashboards                                         |
| Guests | Guests overview and statistics |
| Cleaning        | Cleaning management                                       |

* Use **Default client access** to apply the recommended preset for owner logins
* The counter shows how many features are selected

4. Click **Create new client dashboard**

***

## 🔑 The password — shown only once

After creation, the password appears **once**, right next to the Create button, with a **Copy** button.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Copy and store the password safely before closing the window — it is not shown again later. If it is lost, delete the login and create a new one.
{% endhint %}

***

## ✏️ Editing and deleting access

Click any login in the **Client Dashboards** card to edit it:

* Change the name, properties, or feature access at any time
* Changes take effect on the client's next page load
* Use **Delete** inside the edit window to remove the login permanently

***

## 🌐 Where your clients log in

Share the reporting URL with your clients — **not** your own dashboard URL:

```
https://reporting.host-it.at
```

***

### ➡️ Next steps

* What clients see after logging in → Owner Dashboard
* Manage the owners themselves → Property Owners
