# Property Owners

Manage the owners behind your properties — contact data, billing details, and property assignments.

## 👤 Why owners matter

Every property can be assigned to an **owner**. The owner:

* Supplies recipient details for [**Client Billing**](/okupai-platform/properties-and-platforms/client-billing.md) invoices
* Is used in **reporting** and owner dashboards
* Groups units for multi-owner setups (property managers, investors)

## 📇 Owners Overview

On the **Properties** page, the **Owners Overview** card lists all owners:

* Name, email, and chips for their assigned properties
* A badge with the number of assigned units
* The total owner count in the card header

Click an owner to open the **Edit Owner** window, or click **Add new owner** to create one.

## ✏️ Owner information

The owner form contains:

* **First & last name**, **company name** (optional)
* **Email** (required)
* **Address** — street, number, postal code, city, country
* **Phone**
* **VAT number** and **company registry number**
* **IBAN** and **BIC** — for payouts and invoice details

## 🏘 Assigning properties

In the **Properties** section of the owner window:

* **Assigned** — chips showing this owner's current units
* **Available Properties** — all other units

Click a chip to assign or unassign a property — changes are staged instantly, then saved together with the form.

## 🖼 Owner logo

Upload a logo per owner in the **Logo** section — drag & drop a file or click to browse.

The logo is used to brand owner-facing documents and dashboards.

## 🗑 Deleting an owner

Open the owner and use the delete action. Before deleting, unassign all active properties and remove any Stripe account linked only to that owner. The properties themselves are not deleted.
